What you need to know

Our predictions

Just like you, we like to have a punt at who’ll do what in the 20/21 season, here’s what we think, feel free to call us out next May if we’re miles out!

Champions / Top 2

We can’t look past Liverpool and Man City again for next season, Liverpool’s team is still at its peak, and City have recruited well to push on their already immense site. We can’t pick one though, what do you think?

Top 4 & European qualification

Chelsea have emerged as big spenders but we feel it’ll be another season before they challenge for the title, so we predict top 4. Manchester United finished so strong and we see the Bruno Fernandes lead outfit improving even more next year, completing the Top 4.

If anyone is going to challenge the above then we see it being Mourinho’s Spurs or the rejuvenated Arsenal after their FA Cup victory.

We believe the other contenders for European qualification will be Leicester and Wolves, with both having quality players within their squads.

Relegation battle

With so many fixtures in a short period of time, the teams that don’t recruit well this summer are more likely to struggle. We can’t actually pick 3, and think 8 teams may be at risk of relegation. Villa and West ham narrowly avoided relegation last year and need to improve. Crystal Palace had a dreadful end of the year and may lose Zaha, Newcastle looks a mess behind the scenes and there’s every chance Brighton could be sucked in. And we’ve also included the 3 teams that got promoted in our list.

With so many sub-plots we can’t wait to get the season underway, see you soon at your local Belushi’s
