Belushi's preview

This year is harder to pick the champions than ever but we've gone with 3 somewhat predictable choices that'll be up there:

  • Barcelona: Now under the stewardship of Ronald Koeman, we believe Barca will be challenging as they've managed to convince Lionel Messi to stay another season and the emergence of Fati as a potential superstar. If other experienced players such as the returning Coutinho, Pique and Busquets do well then they will be challenging.
  • Real Madrid: Zinedine Zidane will hope to continues his second stint as Madrid manager by defending the La Liga title he won last year. His men led by Ramos should be challenging particularly if their young talent including Odegaard play well. We're just as interested as you to see if Eden Hazard will light up the league as he did for so many years in England.
  • Atletico Madrid: One thing we've learned in past years is that you can never write off Simone's Atletico. This year they've added Luis Suarez to lead the line and join established players such as Koke, Gimenez and Costa. This team has a wealth of experience and will fancy beating anyone on their day.
