The Queens of the Stone Age are back with their long awaited 7th Album finding a seemingly unlikely collaboration with musical genius Mark Ronson which inherently brings with it a focus on groove elements that are guaranteed to get your feet moving.

There’s no doubt that this is a quintessential QOTSA album. It comes straight outta the gates with the leg shaking jam ‘Feet don’t fail me’ and this along with the following tracks bear all the trademark band features with a long building intros, stop start breaks and heavy sessions of straight jamming.

The first single released from the album ‘The Way we used to do’ is one of the best new rock tunes we’ve heard in a long time and you’ll find yourself moving to ‘Head like a haunted house’ at any time of the day with its upbeat tempo.

Although on the surface the album only has 9 tracks, 6 of those are over 5 minutes long and almost all include long interludes of shred puttin on a masterclass in guitar.

'this is one of the best new albums we’ve heard in awhile'

QOTSA have been a staple in the Belushi’s playlists since we can remember and to put it simply, this is one of the best new albums we’ve heard in awhile so you can expect to hear a lot of it at a Belushi’s near you.
