Angus & Julia Stone - Snow Album Review
BY BEN LANCASTER
September 16th 2017
Angus and Julia Stone have been filling the Belushi’s playlists since their 2010 hit, ‘Big Jet Plane’ found itself at number one on the Triple J’s Hottest 100 and to credit their longevity their latest single, ‘Chateau’ reached number three recently in the 2017 countdown.
Angus Stone has to be one of the hardest working musicians going at the moment in between his solo career and his new project ‘Dope Lemon’ (which is filling our daytime playlists), he has managed to put together another great album with his sister, Julia. Their mix of folky tunes and dreamy vocals switching between a mix of a rugged and soft voices telling a story in every track makes this an incredible piece of work.
The duo opted to write and record this album away from major producers and the result is an easy-listening, chilled-out collection of summer time day tunes guaranteed to get you through the long cold European winter.

They’ve just completed a largely sold out tour across Europe and no doubt will be back in the studio long before we’ve finished enjoying Snow.
